Shopping Overview

The Shopping Overview is the dashboard for product-level performance. It is the first page you open in the shopping section and the one you'll use for weekly checks and monthly reporting.

Where the brand dashboards answer "how is my brand doing in AI answers?", Shopping Overview answers "which of my products are doing well, and which are being left out?" — see Product Visibility for what product-level tracking is and why it matters.

Shopping is an enterprise feature, enabled for a brand by the Genezio team.

What the Dashboard Shows

The Three Metrics

At the top of the page you'll find the headline numbers:

These use the same formulas as the brand-level KPIs, scoped to products. See Insights -> Share of Voice for how share is interpreted.

Top 10 Leaderboards

For each of the three metrics, the dashboard shows a Top 10 product leaderboard — your ten strongest products by that metric.

Trend Charts

Each metric has a trend chart showing how it has moved across the selected period, so you can see direction rather than a single snapshot.

Period-over-Period Change

Every metric shows a percentage change versus the previous period, so you immediately see whether things are improving, flat, or slipping.

Total Retailers Card

A total-retailers card shows how many retailers are associated with your products across the conversations Genezio analyzed. Drill into the detail on Merchants and Retailers.

How to Read It

Start with the three metrics, in order. Visibility tells you reach. Recommendation tells you whether that reach converts into advocacy. Share of Voice tells you how you sit against the competing products. A drop in Visibility and a drop in Recommendation are different problems and need different fixes.

Read the leaderboards as three different questions. The same product rarely tops all three lists, and the differences are the insight:

The most useful comparison is what's missing. If the product you're currently promoting is not on any leaderboard, AI isn't carrying your campaign — that's a content and source problem, not a media problem.

Treat a period-over-period swing as a prompt to investigate, not a conclusion. A large PoP move usually means one of three things: something changed in your content or coverage, a competitor gained or lost ground, or the set of detected products shifted because answer engines started naming something new. Check the trend chart to see whether the move is a spike or a sustained direction, then open Products to see which specific products drove it.

Remember where the products come from. Products are auto-detected from AI conversations only — there is no catalog upload or feed. So the dashboard reflects the products answer engines actually talk about, not your full catalog.

Ask Geo from the Cards

The shopping cards include one-click contextual questions wired to your actual numbers. Rather than reading a metric and wondering what to do about it, you click a question and get an answer grounded in your data — for example:

We have 0% visibility — where do we start?

The question carries the context of the card it came from, which turns a number on a dashboard into a next action. Full detail on what Geo can do is in GEO Assistant.
