Sign-in and SSO Options
Genezio offers several ways to sign in, so you can use the method that fits how your team already works — a simple email and password, your Google or Microsoft account, or your organization's single sign-on.
This page walks through the available options, how to sign up, how to join a team you've been invited to, and what enterprise SSO looks like.
Available Sign-in Methods
- Email and password — Create an account with your email address and a password. New accounts go through an email verification step before they're active.
- Google — Sign in with your Google account.
- Microsoft / Entra — Sign in with your Microsoft (Entra) account. This works on mobile as well as desktop.
- Enterprise SSO (SAML) — For organizations that want everyone to sign in through their own identity provider. See the section below.
The sign-in, sign-up, verification, and invite pages share a clean, consistent layout with provider and LLM icons so the right option is easy to spot.
How to Sign Up
- Enter your details — your name, email address, and a password.
- Accept the legal terms (the disclaimers shown on the sign-up page).
- Choose your marketing-email preference — this is an opt-in, so it's entirely up to you.
- Verify your email — Genezio sends you a verification message; click the link to confirm your address and activate your account.
Once your email is verified, you can sign in and start setting up your brand.
How to Accept a Team Invite
If a colleague has invited you to an existing team, you'll receive an invitation by email.
- Open the invitation email and follow the accept-invite link.
- Complete the short sign-up step if you don't already have an account.
- You'll join the team and land in the shared workspace, ready to go.
Enterprise SSO (SAML)
For organizations that prefer centralized access, Genezio supports single sign-on via SAML 2.0. Your people sign in through your company's existing identity provider — Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, OneLogin, Ping, or any SAML 2.0 IdP — under the credentials and policies you already manage.
Enterprise SSO isn't self-serve; it's set up with the Genezio team. In short: we send you the Identifier (Entity ID) and Reply URL to configure a SAML application in your IdP, and you send us your IdP's SAML metadata XML so we can complete the connection. From then on, your users sign in with their work email and get routed to your normal company login.
Organizations using SSO can also enable SCIM provisioning, so Genezio accounts are created and deactivated automatically from your identity provider instead of being invited by hand. Two things to know:
- SSO alone doesn't create accounts. A user has to exist in Genezio — via SCIM or an invitation — before they can sign in. Authenticating successfully isn't enough on its own.
- Roles are set in Genezio, not in your IdP. SCIM handles who has an account; an account Owner decides what each person can do, under Users.
