Why this page is important
A paid ad can take the attention of a buyer before they read the answer. You need to know three things:- Which advertisers bid on the topics that you care about.
- Which of these advertisers are your competitors.
- Which conversations show an ad but do not name your brand.
Read the KPIs
The top of the page gives a short summary and these KPIs:- Advertisers: how many advertisers showed an ad in the selected dates.
- Ad coverage: the share of the ChatGPT conversations that showed at least one ad.
- Not in the answer: the share of the conversations with ads that do not name your brand. A high value means that a buyer sees an ad and does not see you.
- Your share of ads: the part of all ad occurrences that belong to your brand.
See the advertisers
The advertiser table lists each advertiser with its conversations, its share, and its ads. Search for an advertiser by name or sort the table by a column. The chart of the ad visibility shows each week for your brand, for your competitors, and for the other advertisers. It shows who gains ad space over time. Select an advertiser to open a drawer. The drawer shows the ads of this advertiser, its topics, and its conversations. If the advertiser is not yet a competitor, you can track it as a competitor from the drawer.See your own ads
If your brand runs ads, the Your ads section shows them. You can order them from the top ads to the worst ads. Use this order to find the message that works and the message that does not.See the topics and scenarios with ads
The topic table and the scenario table show where ads appear. Each row gives the share of the conversations that show an ad. Select a topic or a scenario to see:- The top three advertisers of that topic or scenario.
- The ad visibility over time.
- The newest conversations, with the ad as ChatGPT shows it.
